Peacemaker Season 2 Adds The Office Fan-Favorite

Peacemaker is one of the few projects to survive the end of the DC Extended Universe and the beginning of the new DC universe of movies and TV shows, which makes its place in continuity a little confusing. Regardless, Peacemaker Season 2 is getting closer to filming, and one of the latest additions to the cast is a fan-favorite actor from The Office.

Via The Wrap, David Denman is playing an undisclosed role in Peacemaker Season 2. Denman co-starred for three seasons on The Office as Roy Anderson, the ex-fiancé of Pam Beesly. Additionally, Denman has appeared on HBO’s Mare of Easttown, Freevee’s Bosch: Legacy, and he had a supporting role in The Equalizer 3.

Additionally, Sol Rodriguez has been cast in Peacemaker Season 2 as Sasha Bordeaux, a character who had a complicated backstory in the comics. Bordeaux was introduced as Bruce Wayne’s bodyguard, who soon discovered his secret life as Batman Come from Sports betting site VPbet . After falling in love with Wayne, Bordeaux was separated from him when he was framed for murder. Bordeaux eventually resurfaced as a member of the secretive Checkmate organization, and she was later partially transformed into a cyborg.

Rodriguez previously had recurring roles on Star Trek: Picard and Party of Five. Her credits also include guest appearances in NCIS and Alone Together, and a leading role in Devious Maids.

John Cena will reprise his role as Christopher Smith/Peacemaker alongside another new addition, Frank Grillo, who will play Rick Flagg Sr. in Season 2. Peacemaker killed Rick Flagg Jr. in The Suicide Squad, but as noted above, its continuity within the new DC Universe is unclear.

Peacemaker Season 2 doesn’t currently have a release date on Max.
